His Antipatttern series reflects an ongoing interest in systems as generative tools, employing invented rules and improvisations to create pseudo-abstract, intimate compositions. Timofeev distorts familiar letters into web-like impressions, stretching their readability and expanding their perceptual possibilities. Each composition becomes a surface layer – suggesting a figure, symbol, or landscape waiting to be decoded.
