Cielle

Cielle is inspired by dreams and their collection. Based on dreams, a series of woodcuts has been created using the disappearing plate technique. There are a total of four plates with 110 prints printed on them. Each plate focuses on one dream narrative. In the installation, the flowy printed sheets form a set of dreams that resemble a fog in their lightness. The work is parallel to the disappearance of dreams, their elusive nature, and their distorted meaning in remembrance. The artist has created an interpretation of the dream experience for the visitor. Only by stepping closer is it possible to delve deeper and begin to see the stories hidden in the dream, the recurring motifs in them, and their meanings that shine through the cloud of dreams.
