The Pile

The second game, The Pile by Camille Laurelli and Romain Sein, initially resembles a classic shooting game. A crosshair appears in the center of the screen, and as the game begins, a timer counts down to zero. However, upon exploring the game world, it quickly becomes clear that the player can only pick up objects and move them elsewhere. There seems to be no clear objective. In a sense, The Pile is a true open-world game. There is no storyline, no rules; it is just you and the infinite. What could be on those floating platforms?
