Camille Laurelli

Camille Laurelli (b. 1981) is a French artist and teacher currently residing and working in Tallinn. He holds a Ph.D. from the Annecy Higher Art School (2015) and a Master’s degree (DNSEP) from the Grenoble Higher Art School (2005). As a guest teacher, he has been teaching at the Estonian Academy of Art (EKA) in Tallinn since 2015.
In 2018, Camille co-founded the LVLup! Museum of Video Games in Tallinn, and as of 2021, it became a part of the National Library of Estonia (RaRa), integrated into the Educational Center of RaRa. Additionally, he is an active member of the European Federation of Video Game Archives, Museums, and Preservation Projects (EFGAMP). One of his notable contributions is the initiation of the “VIA Lab” program, which focuses on video games in art. This program was launched in collaboration with the New Media department of EKA in September 2023.
