Kristi Kongi
Kristi Kongi focuses on colour, light and space, and her work often takes the form of all-encompassing installations. She has studied painting at Tartu Art College and completed her master’s degree in the painting department of the Estonian Academy of Arts. Since 2017 she is an associate professor in the painting department at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Her recent exhibitions include Shimmering Star Magenta. Was It a Dream or Was It Real? at Kogo Gallery (2021) and Imaginary Creatures at the Twilight 2 at Rüki Gallery in Viljandi (2021). She has recently participated at group exhibitions Colour as an Idea. Thoughts on Colour in ARS Project Room in Tallinn (2021), Let Me Dream Once More at Narva Museum Art Gallery (2020-21) and the international group exhibition Art Museum of Estonia 100.
