Margaret Tali

Margaret Tali is an art historian and curator whose fields of research involves visual culture, museums and the global colonial relations in the Baltic region. She has published her research in different magazines and books internationally and she has previously worked in The Netherlands. With Ieva Astahovska they initiated the project “Communicating Difficult Pasts” (2019-2024) and have organized several international events and curated the exhibition “Difficult Pasts. Connected Worlds” previously in the Latvian National Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art in Vilnius. She works as a researcher and teacher in Tallinn University and Estonian Academy of Arts.
