FoxSec (Fox in Lower Right Corner)

This painting with its humorous title was the first to be finished for Urmas Pedanik’s new exhibition. The story of its creation went like this:

A good acquaintance of Pedanik, whose job is to improve security systems, completed a gadget he had been working on for years. Sharing his great joy, he asked Pedanik to paint it. However, the artist’s thoughts had already wandered to nature. They talked about it and found a compromise: the gadget would be placed among others of its kinds, indistinguishable to an untrained eye, and brought to the same picture space with the Chocolate Hills of the Philippines. Fox in Lower Right Corner teases about work accomplishments and trade secrets.
