From Deep Within, From High Above

When theoretical knowledge is grounded in hands-on experience, it can evolve into a deeply reliable intuition. Encounters with other specialists challenge routines and expand one’s toolbox. Where one person sees a dead end, another sees a way forward. Sandra’s and Tõnis’s practices intersect mainly in the invisible realm of ideas – but over the course of several months, they have supported each other’s creative processes, offering solutions, perspectives, and new possibilities.

In the final, smallest room, the artists’ works meet physically. They don’t just touch –they merge. The installation, composed of overhead projectors and chimes, weaves together presentation technology and sculptural form. It is both a display and an object of display. But what does it look like? Exactly what it is: a temporary solution to a temporary situation. And what does it show? A constellation of points – a system. Something that is always, unavoidably, more than just its shadow.
