Inari Sandell

Inari Sandell is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Helsinki whose practice combines photography, moving image, and sculpture. Their recent work explores the histories of psychiatric disciplinary systems shaping narratives around neurodiversity, aiming to unlearn societal norms around body and mind. Sandell’s work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Fundació Joan Miró: Espai 13 (Barcelona), UKS (Oslo), Hafnarborg (Hafnarfjördur, Iceland), Titanik (Turku), SIC (Helsinki), and the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York.
