Kelli Gedvil

Kelli Gedvil (1994) lives and works in Tallinn and Berlin. She graduated from the Painting Department at the Estonian Academy of Arts with a bachelor’s degree and received her master’s degree from the Department of Contemporary Art. She has also studied as an exchange student at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and the Valand Academy in Sweden.

Gedvil mostly works in installation, painting and video media, while emphasising the interactivity of her works in order to introduce the topic by engaging the viewer. She explores how behavioural patterns of self-presentation evolve in both virtual and real environments. Gedvil has participated in exhibitions in Estonia, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Canada, Hungary and Poland. She is the co-founder of the Robin Ellis Meta artist group, a gallerist and technical assistant at the online gallery post-gallery.online, as well as the co-founder of the non-profit organisation MTÜ Eesti-Saksa Kunstikoostöö.
