"Artist painting artists" at Art Hall Gallery
As part of the Spring Exhibition, a portrait exhibition curated by Kai Kaljo and featuring 66 artists is open at the Art Hall Gallery.
The genre of psychological portrait is very honest in many respects; it does not allow the artist or the model to hide anything or go down the easier path. My idea was that if we can portray a living person (also depicting a likeness, of course), then this portrait could become alive and outlive the person. I am very happy that the idea of the exhibition Artists Painting Artists strikes a chord with so many people.
