Jan Lütjohann

Jan Lütjohann (1987) is a German sculptor and educator who lives and works in Finland. In his work he often explores the possibilities and limitations inherent in manual tools and pre-industrial work methods. For Lütjohann, such technologies represent important potential for contemporary and future practices. Recent exhibitions include: Things that Contain at MUU gallery in Helsinki (2021), Time and Other Resources at Galleria Sculptor in Helsinki (2019) and A Little Bit, Every Day (with Uku Sepsivart) at Hobusepea gallery in Tallinn (2018).
