Monthly get-together of seniors at the Estonian House in Toronto

1975

“The home delivery of The Toronto Star had to be stopped temporarily. He did read newspapers quite carefully. The Canadian as well as the Estonian one. Then there were Spordileht and Kehakultuur, which came from Estonia and were already yesterday’s news by the time they arrived. But it was still better than nothing. And try to look for the results of the European Football Cup matches in the papers in this country! They only talk about football when the hooligans cause a riot in England or the stands collapse.”
