Amie Nga Man Chan
Amie Nga Man Chan (1991) is an artist living and working in Tallinn and Hong Kong. She studied visual arts at the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University and postgraduate visual culture studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2021 she obtained her master’s degree in Crafts and Design from the Estonian Academy of Arts. Her project earned her the Young Applied Artist Award. She is also one of the founders of “Ceramies” and “Laichankee” studios. Her practice emphasises the combination of ceramics and the environment. She is interested in the relationship between pottery and people, makers and audiences. She participates in various different ceramics campaigns, including art projects and individual artworks. Her works have been exhibited mainly in Hong Kong and Tallinn.
