Núria Güell

Núria Güell was born in Vidreres, a village near the city of Girona, in 1981. She graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and continued her studies at the Cátedra de Arte de Conducta (Behavior Art School) in Havana, Cuba. She has held exhibitions in art centres around the world and participated in many Biennials. In addition, she has been awarded several prizes and she works regularly with social centres and schools. In her works, she shows conflicts and contradictions present between different realities. Her practice usually involves moving pieces, moving individuals, and involves action. Her recent solo exhibitions include “Visiones Contemporáneas” (Spain, 2019), “L’apuntador i altres símptomes» (Spain, 2020), “Núria Güell: Mini-Retrospective” (Tel Aviv, 2020).
