Case Studies (Fossils)

The series Case Studies consists of significant objects that have been accumulated and put together as a result of the artist’s research into specific phenomena such as animal patterns, product placement and packaging, as well as the nation state as a collective body. The objects and images are “frozen” inside transparent silicone that preserves them as fossils and protects them from further decomposition. These contemporary fossils are phrases and case studies of  significant phenomena in popular culture that have influenced mass behavior.
