Nesim Tahirović

Nesim Tahirović (1941–2020, Bosnia and Herzegovina) was a Bosnian painter known for his work in painting, scenic design and other applied arts. Over a forty-five-year career as an independent artist, he held around sixty solo exhibitions and participated in more than a hundred group exhibitions both in his native country and abroad, receiving numerous awards for his contributions to painting and scenic design. His paintings were exhibited in museums and galleries and are held in private collections  worldwide. Tahirović was a member of the Association of Applied Artists and Designers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Association of Visual Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He lived and worked in Tuzla.
