Tanel Rander

Tanel Rander is an Estonian artist, curator and art writer. He has always been interested in subjectivity and the ways how inner and external influences shape it. Since 2010, his work has been related to East European identity and decoloniality. During the recent years his focus has shifted towards self-reflection and psychology. His latest solo exhibition was Angelus Novus (2022 in Hobusepea Gallery, Tallinn). His latest curatorial project was Goodbye East! Goodbye Narcissus! (2023 in EKKM, Tallinn), which focused on the East European collective psyche as a narcissistic constellation.
