Realism

There is no doubt that Anna is a capable painter; she copes perfectly with a realistic style of representation, but her goal lies somewhere else. Through the alternation of details, perspectives and different media, she questions the perception of reality as a whole. In her works we encounter seemingly unrelated fragments of reality magnified to the smallest detail, through which traditional and recognizable images shine through: stairs, tree roots and branches, phrases and sentences, both personal and anonymous at the same time.
